A teleprompter is a device for displaying electronic texts on the screen in front of the presenter or viewer, allowing for dynamic display of text to be spoken or route to be followed.

WINDOW AND FULL SCREEN MODES

DUAL MONITOR SUPPORT (2 MONITORS)

EdiPrompter is compatible with dual monitor setups (including USB monitors).

• Monitor 1 exhibits the text in normal mode by default. The teleprompter operator can easily read the text and control text position, scroll speed and reading marker position. The text on monitor 1 can also be mirrored (horizontally and/or vertically), useful in special situations with single monitor setups.
• Monitor 2 can be adjusted to exhibit the text mirrored horizontally and/or vertically on the teleprompter screen. You can adjust and save the mirror text settings on monitor 2.

EDITOR MODE AND PROMPTER MODE

TEXT SEARCH

Editor mode has an improved text search feature (word finding) that allows for faster text editing.

• Words can be easily found in order to add new information or correct an eventual mistyping.
• When looking for a word, you can find how many times the word is repeated along the text.

PROMPTER CONFIGURATION MENU

The prompter configuration menu allows for real-time change of the items below:

• Text speed control (5 speed presets).
• Type of reading marker (triangular arrows, horizontal bar or line).
• Reading marker color.
• Position of the reading marker.
• Color scheme of screen exhibition.

LOCAL TIME DISPLAY, ELAPSED TIME AND PERCENTAGE OF TEXT READ

EdiPrompter displays local time, elapsed time and the approximate current percentage of text already read.

HORIZONTAL AND VERTICAL MIRROR TEXT MODES

Mirror modes allow to display the text using either professional TP devices or adapted devices that reflect the screen using mirrors.

• You can toggle between horizontal mirror text mode, vertical mirror text mode and normal text mode in real time, without exiting EdiPrompter’s Prompter Mode.
• Independent mirror text modes (monitor 1 and monitor 2).
